Debora DeSimone earned her undergraduate degree at Pennsylvania State University and became a Licensed Massage Therapist at the Center for Natural Wellness Massage Therapy School. She has been a fitness instructor since 1998, and a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Instructor since 2009. Deb enjoys exploring new places and has traveled throughout Europe and Asia. During her most recent travels to Chiang Mai, Thailand she studied Thai Massage with Namphetch Khunchamnan at the Khunchamnan Family Thai Massage School. Thai Massage is now one of the massage treatments offered at Saratoga Sports Massage.
Amy Haley is a graduate of the Center for Natural Wellness and Massage Therapy. She is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist as well as a trained Level 1 Reiki practitioner. Amy is a fitness instructor, a N.A.S.M. Certified Personal Trainer, and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Helping athletes stay healthy and injury free while reach their goals drives Amy's passion for massage therapy.
Heather L. Hughes earned a B.A in English Literature from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2001 and a Masters in Education for Secondary English at the College of St. Joseph in 2007. In February 2012, she began her study at The Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy, in Albany NY, and graduated as a Licensed Massage Therapist. With two marathons, three Ragnar Relays and over a dozen half marathons under her belt, Heather understands and appreciates the need for massage in the recovery process of athletes and the maintenance of active lifestyles. Heather’s clients range from high school athletes, marathoners, weekend warriors and those who live with the aches and pains of everyday life. She looks forward to increasing her knowledge and improving her techniques through continuing education in order to bring her clients the best massage practice she can. With an avid love of the outdoors, Heather can be found running, skiing and hiking with her husband and son.
Hope Robertson has been practicing therapeutic massage since receiving her license in 2012. She is a graduate of the Center for Natural Wellness of Albany and has a background in Psychology from SUNY Adirondack. Although her work consists primarily of deep tissue and sports therapy techniques, she is eclectic in style. Since Hope’s sessions are based on individual client needs, she incorporates several other therapeutic modalities such as: Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular therapy, Reflexology, and Myofascial techniques. Her intent is to always deliver the best treatment possible to restore overall balance and wellness.
June Stoddard-Finemore graduated from Mildred Elley with the Academic Achievement Award from the Massage Therapy Department. She has continued her education in craniosacral techniques and is currently teaching classes in Saratoga Springs for caregivers and their partners facing serious illness. She donates her time to the "To Life" wellness therapies in Saratoga Springs for women facing the challenges of breast cancer. Her specialties include but are not limited to Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology, Pregnancy Masssage and Aromatherapy. June is very skilled in helping clients suffering from headaches and neck/low back pain.
Vanessa completed her massage therapy training at The Swedish Institute of Health Sciences in New York, NY. She became a licensed therapist in 2008, and has been practicing in a variety of settings for the past six years. Vanessa spent many summer months working with clients in her hometown of Shelter Island, NY. She is excited about her recent move to upstate NY, and working at Saratoga Sports Massage. Vanessa enjoys working with clients to create massage sessions that help relieve tension, discomfort, and stress, while promoting overall health and wellness. In addition to massage therapy, Vanessa is also an elementary educator. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College, and completed her graduate work at Quinnipiac University. In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys running, hiking and camping, and cooking vegetarian meals.
Christie Showers is a Licensed Massage Therapist who earned her degree from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy and has a background in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland. Christie enjoys working with a diverse group of clients and incorporates several different modalities into each of her sessions, depending on her clients’ individual needs. The modalities she incorporates include but are not limited to; Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Hot Stone Massage. She loves to help people and is a very content Massage Therapist when her clients are achieving their overall health and wellness goals. In her free time, Christie loves to be outdoors; whether it is hiking, camping, or just relaxing on the lake with friends and family. Playing volleyball is and always has been a huge passion of hers, as well.
Jaime Phillips is a graduate of Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy with a background in geriatric home healthcare and fine art. She is passionate about supporting people on their path to wellness, as well as partnering with her clients to find solutions for managing their chronic pain. To design the most optimal massage for each client, she uses an array of modalities, including: Shiatsu, Neuromuscular (Trigger Point) Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Sports Massage, and Swedish Massage
